”Teviot Cottage was very comfortable and well appointed. It is in a great spot being walking distance to the High Street. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. It was good having a second toilet downstairs. It would be helpful if there were some hooks in the bathroom either behind the door or on the wall.”

”The bed and breakfast experience lived up to its billing with prompt and excellent service from Michelle whenever requested. Breakfasts were excellent with a wide range of choices and the rooms were kept tidy with the suite providing the opportunity to relax in private. ”

”We arrived very late in the evening about 9:30pm and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or more helpful. They recommended a local takeaway that delivered and allowed us to eat our food in the bar and have a drink. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.”

”Stayed over for a night whilst travelling back from a trip to Scotland. A great B & B which I can’t recommend highly enough. From meeting Susan on arrival where she showed off our room. Whilst cosy, everything was pristine! A comfy bed and great breakfast the next morning topped off a great stay. Not forgetting the pub attached……where we had our evening meal and probably the best Beef and Ale pie we’ve ever had with great personal service too. We’d highly recommend the Rose & Thistle and look...

”All Staff were excellent, Food was excellent, room was lovely. My only niggle (and it is a niggle) was that our room also had the upstairs fire escape door - which was not mentioned at all (ie, what to do in event of a fire and whether our bedroom was the fire escape access for all the rooms in our section).”

”Absolutely amazing hospitality in such a beautiful and tranquil location overlooking the green in the village food was excellent breakfast was filling with endless fresh coffee it’s so rural and quiet no need for earplugs at this lovely accommodation highly recommend and definitely be back again thanks steve”

”Lovely stay at Meadhon House as part of a Borders exploration trip. Easy walking distance to Jedburgh Abbey and town centre. The room was beautifully furnished and very well appointed. Breakfast was very tasty with good options. Lovely warm welcome from Amanda and Rob - turns out it is a very small world indeed! We shall return if ever back in the area. ”
