”We only stayed a couple of nights but found our room very clean and tidy. The area was very quiet and we especially appreciated the quiet AC unit during the recent heat wave. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful.”

”The pictures on the website made out the venue to be more appealing than it actually was. We needed a place to lay our heads for a night and it met that objective. The staff was friendly and the inn was kept clean but it was also a bit dank and musty. There was a small shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom but no soap. In the end, you get what you pay for so I can’t complain much.”

”A wonderful, quiet place just a couple of miles north of Acadia NP and not just a paradise for golfers. Unfortunately, their restaurant is closed on Mondays, but the staff at reception gave us a couple of useful hints. Breakfast was amazing and the view from the deck is breathtaking! Will be back on our next visit!”

They served a delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning in their tastefully decorated dining room. The entire property is very warm and inviting and filled with rich history. ”Great, helpful and friendly staff!!! Great price and location. Only issues were very minor, and any issues that were addressable were immediately remedied. We were also aware before arriving that the pool is no longer available, although it is not physically removed as of yet. Note that it is a slightly older hotel, so if you have mobility issues, be sure to request a ground floor room, since there is no elevator to the second floor. There is a small cafe room serving (in the morning) free...

”The girl at the front desk was not very friendly and gave me a cold vibe when I checked in. The hallways had a damp musty smell, the room was ok but had a smokey smell. The window had some small holes around the AC unit that you could see daylight through. It did the job but would probably stay there again.”
