”Absolutely fabulous place to stay! We would have definitely liked to spent more time there. We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed our stay. Chalet was very clean and warm, with a lot of space and with terrific view over the valley. We even got few kiwi fruits from backyard. Highly recommended! Only 15-20 minutes drive from place to star the treks or boat trips to Abel Tasman national park.”

”A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ.”

We originally planned to stay for two nights and because of the.Bonhomie of the place we stayed a total of six days and five nights. We would have stayed all the way to the end of our trip. This was an unexpected find and you have a really open mind. I highly recommended to book this place. Just remember, it’s not the faint heart. ”
