”I booked this hotel for couple nights and was very pleased with it. I've been in better hotels in my life but for the price I payed for my nights in Lansdowne it was worth it. Location of the hotel is excellent as it is right next to the beach (which can make lot of noise during windy times) and in less than a minute walk from grocery shop and Hastins' centre. Appearance of the hotel is decent compared to Finnish standards but rooms are very tidy and cozy. My bed was very shoft, maybe too soft...

”Comfortable bed, great location, excellent communication ”

”Nice location and good sized room. Room gets very warm even with the fan provided, as it gets direct sunlight in the morning. Be aware there is no reception of any kind, so you need to make sure you have been sent the building/room code and instructions to get in when you arrive. I hadn’t been emailed mine, and had to call the property phone number to get it, but the help over the phone was very nice and I got what I needed. Otherwise great room for the price. ”

”Huone oli siisti, juuri remontoitu. Mutta valitettavan meluisa, koka se sijaitsi pohjakerroksessa. Jouduimme siis kuuntelemaan ihmisten kotiintulo- kolinaa pitkin yötä. Sijainti oli loistava!”

”Huone oli melko pieni mutta sisälsi kaiken tarvittavan. Omistaja oli ystävällinen. Hotellin sijainti on hyvä ostoskadut ja ranta 5 min kävelyn päässä. Aamiainen tuodaan huoneeseen korissa, itse pitää keittää kahvit/tee. Lyhyeen vierailuun todella sopiva.”

”Sijainti aivan loistava siitä pisteet. Televisio ei toiminut ja vessan hana meni rikki viimeisenä iltana. Siisteystaso hyvä, huone jokseenkin päivityksen tarpeessa esim. likainen lamppu. Sänky pieni parisänky tuplapeitolla mistä miinuspisteitä. Palvelu paikanpäällä hyvää, mutta kotimaasta heidän tavoittaminen puhelimitse oli todella vaikeaa ja hidasta.”

”This is a small hotel in a good location just a couple of minutes walk from the Brighton Pier. I stayed alone in a small (bigger than London small) room with a comfy bed, good shower, wall-tv and a fridge. Quite comfortable in March-April, however might get hot in the summer as there's no AC in this room. Breakfast also available, I did not use this opportunity. Service very friendly, made you feel welcome. Price level also very reasonable: I will definitely consider staying here again if back...

”Had a wonderful stay at One Broad Street! Close to the pier and and a walking distance from city centrum. Had a comfy room with great amenities kettle, Krups capsule machine and microwave and a SMART tv included. Will definitely come back! ”

”Olemme erittäin tyytyväisiä tähän hotelliin. Aamiaistarjoilu oli mitä erinomainen. Saa valita oman lämpimän aamiaistarjoilun menusta, VAU!! Tarjoilussa oli myös luomu otettu huomioon erittäin hyvin. Huoneemme oli pieni (kuten yleensä Englannissa), kodikas ja siisti huone toisessa kerroksessa. Huoneemme oli pihan puolella (kattonäkymät viereisiin rakennuksiin), joten se oli ainakin ihanan rauhallinen. Muutenkin pidin siitä, että hotellissa oli melkein kaikki aikuisväkeä, rauhallista sellaista....

”Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. Room was simple but very affordable.”

”Nice little guest house in great location. Near the bus station and only a 25 min walk to the railway station. Friendly service and good breakfast. The water pressure in the shower was not very good otherwise the room was fine. Unfortunately some customers cannot behave properly. We were woken up twice during the night when a woman was shouting and banging the door near our room.”

"Well, this is England and many things differs from Nordic style so we were very satisfied and understand and accept differencies. Corridors and public areas are very stylish but also little bit old fashioned..full carpets etc. and f.ex. why to have hot and cold water valves separated?.. Nice hotel anyway, nice location!"
