”What an amazing view! The hosts were very helpful with local suggestions and we had an wonderful time. The breakfast was awesome and the view from the back porch is a bonus! The home is a treasure from the 1800's. We would highly recommend this inn when staying in the Acadia area!”

”We loved this property. It is far enough from town to feel secluded but close enough to visit Acadia, Bar Harbor, and other local attractions. Great location and the tent was perfect for a long weekend getaway. Lee and Peg were excellent hosts as well.”

”We felt very comfortable in this sweet little cottage in the woods. It’s only a short distance off Hwy 1, but far enough for no traffic noise. The location makes it easy to travel to any of the beautiful peninsulas. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, and we felt like we found a treasure renting here. ”Lovely, updated two-bedroom house in a beautiful setting! Situated half-way between two Acadia National Park destinations - the more popular (and more crowded) Mt Desert Island/Bar Harbor and the beautiful (less crowded) Schoodic Peninsula. The house was clean and well-cared for with newer appliances and the convenience of a washer and dryer. Check-in and out was simple and Amy made herself available but we had absolutely no issues during our stay. Would definitely stay again!”

”We loved everything about this rental. It is private, immaculately clean, and horses! It was so quiet and relaxing to watch the sunrise with coffee out on the deck and horses grazing in the paddocks. This home is perfectly situated to be close to Bar Harbor, Acadia Park, Schoodic Point (even better) and yet distant from crowds and heavy traffic. Driving past the Wyman Blueberry fields was amazing! The host was so helpful and we were so grateful for the Schoodic Point recommendation!”

”Cabin was better than expected. This cabin is exactly what I’m looking for when I relocate to Maine in my retirement. Beautiful location just far enough off the grid to relax from the daily grind. Kimberly was very responsive. My only regret was not meeting the Murphy’s. Seems like our styles match.”

”This was our first trip to Franklin, we came to visit family. The house was perfect. Sat on a beautiful piece of property over looking a bay. We watched the tide come in each day. The sunrise was gorgeous. The house was very well equipped. Very good communication with the owner, and we had a wonderful time. My only comment would be the beds are very firm, so if you’re not used to that, I’d bring something to cushion the mattress. Other than that, wonderful home to rent.”

”Our checkin/checkout process was a breeze. Communication with the property manager was easy and she replied back quickly. We were a family of 5 with 2 teens and 1 preteen.
