”There is absolutely nothing that I would change about our stay at the Refuge Inn. It was magical.”

”Quaint little boutique hotel. Bed comfortable, good shower, quiet. When I arrived there was no staff there. They left a key on the counter with instructions. Front door stays open night and day which is highly unusual. Quiet town so I wasn’t too worried. Good dead bolt on bedroom door so felt safe.”

”Upon check in, the room looked clean and well appointed. Within an hour we started seeing ants! The front desk was told about the ants the next morning. We were gone the whole day and upon our return, our room had not been cleaned, trash taken out, extra toilet paper left, nor did we have clean towels. The front desk was called and everything was taken care of but the ants. We left early every morning and did not return until 4 or 5pm each afternoon. Same story. The front desk had to be called...

”The complementary breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for additional towels. The pool was nice. The air conditioner worked great and the balcony was facing the water which was very peaceful and pleasant, giving us spectacular sunset views each night. Location was convenient to nearby restaurants on Main Street and other shops. The room and bathroom were a bit dated, sink and faucet were not clean and there was trash in the nightstand drawer; no maid service...

”A brief stop on our travels. We had a nice walk around town and a comfortable room. We left before the 8 am breakfast so can’t comment on that. ”

”Even though we only stayed one night, we felt it was memorable. The room was spacious and clean. The room was quiet and we never heard another guest. Breakfast was very good and a lot of food. The steep stairs down to the beach were worth it because the shells were plentiful. The porch out back was a great place to have morning coffee and watch the boats. The only requests I would make would be to put a magnifying mirror in the bathroom to make applying makeup easier and mount a full...
