”The park listed the restaurant hours as open until 9pm. We arrived at 8:17pm and the only restaurant was closed. The hotel manager overheard and had the kitchen grab us a few to-go plates!! Absolutely caring people. Our room was in the middle of a large group of teenagers from England that were in and out of rooms and running past our room all night, so didn’t sleep much. Room was clean and comfortable at least! ”
”Place is very unassuming when you drive by it, but I found it very comfortable and well appointed. Check-in was super quick and the hotel was kind enough to hold a package for us for a few days until our arrival. This is perhaps a bit silly, but as a tallish person I appreciated that the shower head was at a good height and not super low like a lot of places. Air conditioning worked quickly and kept the room comfortable. I would absolutely stay here again. ”
”The remodel of this hotel is great. I stayed here as a child and was sad to see it closed down for awhile. The new owners have done a beautiful job at making things so clean and cozy. I stayed in a room directly next to Highway 395, but even with the traffic there, I slept really well. I did use ear plugs, which helped. ”
”We had two small children with us so we chose the motel style room, and used the picnic table area to set up our camp stove for dinner and breakfast. The camp kitchen also had a microwave which was very handy!
Upon arrival, we got a welcome bag with a smores kit and fish food for the trout tanks. At first I thought the room was pricey but then I realized what it’s worth - watching my kids giggle while the fed the fish, making smores next to the ricer and then getting our feet wet, playing lawn...
”Huoneemme oli aika perusmallia, rauhallinen, siisti ja riittävän tilava. Ikkunasta näkyi yksi (?) kaupungin kirkoista. Hotellin piha on iso, puita ja nurmikkoa sekä penkkejä. Autolle oli oma paikka heti huoneemme edessä. Aamiaistila oli toisella puolella pihaa olevassa rakennuksessa ja kiva poikkeus monista muista posliinikuppeineen. Sen toinen huone oli kuin hyvin toimeentulevan vanhan tädin kamari. Respan rouva oli hyvin ystävällinen. ”
”This was my third time staying at this hotel and once again, I was really happy with everything. It's affordable, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and they have a great little pool for those very hot summer days. The family who runs the hotel are lovely too. I couldn't ask for more in a budget-friendly hotel. If you're exploring the gorgeous south end of the Eastern Sierras, this is a great option.”
