    The Space:

    Nestled within the evergreen canopy with glimpses of the ocean filtering through, this unique home epitomizes the peace and beauty of Orcas Island living. Spend your days among the treetops - relaxing, dining, and marveling at your surroundings on a 360-degree deck that wraps around the house.



    This home feels incredibly private, while being a short 5 miles to charming downtown Eastsound. Within walking distance are a trail that leads into spectacular Moran State Park (one mile) and the seaplane arrival dock for Kenmore Air from Seattle.



    The centerpiece of this home is the deck, the perfect spot for morning coffee with the breeze rustling through the trees. Linger with a good book for a few hours, return in the afternoon to barbecue on the Traeger grill, and sit down for a special evening meal in the golden hour light.



    Inside, the house is modern yet cozy, with picture windows framing the forest at every turn. It's a lovely setting for playing board games by the window, watching movies using your personal streaming services, and cooking at home in the well-equipped kitchen. Rounding out the home comforts are two serene bedrooms, central air conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi.

    Check-in time: 4:00 PM.

    Check-out time: 10:00 AM.

    All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

The home was really cozy and comfortable. We loved the wrap around deck and could follow the sunshine as it moved through the day. Also, we were about a 10 min walk to trails that linked up to Cascade Lake and Mt Moran trails, so we didn't have to drive to a trailhead.

Magical treehouse in the Woods

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It’s so close to Moran State park and all the lakes, which made going on adventures during the day very close. We had everything we needed for relaxing evenings after hiking and paddle boarding during the day.

Great place right up from Rosario Village

This place was great for us. Plenty of room, privacy, and deck was very spacious. Was equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals. We had friends staying down at the marina so walking distance was very convenient. Would stay again.

The house was clean and comfortable and looked just like the pictures. It was a very peaceful setting in the trees with very small views of water. Beds were very comfortable. The decor was really nice and went well with the woodsy feel of the house. Great place to explore Orcas Island from and then return in the evening to relax.

Comfortable and Interesting Home in the Woods

We very much enjoyed this "round house" set beautifully in the woods of Orcas Island. It's not far from town and has a secluded feel. It has all the amenities we needed and comfortable beds.

Perfect location on orcas Island

This was an awesome location on east side of the island, east of the cute town of Eastsound. We could walk down the path towards Rosario resort and see the water and beautiful scenery. Moran State Park with amazing trails was a short 3-5 min drive.

Great Getaway

Great location at Rosario Village. Perfect for marina activities, sunset, Moran State Park hikes and views. Clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Our family of 4 had a great stay! Washer and dryer a huge plus. Enough space for the 4 of us to have a very comfortable stay. Would love to go back!

We loved our stay! The house was clean and perfect sized. It was so nice to have another bedroom for our baby to sleep in so we could still move around and not also have to be in bed at 7! Super close drive to east sound (10ish min) and beautiful view of the water from the deck. Rosario was pretty dead when we were there, maybe just the season? We loved orcas and would definitely come back!

Great place near Moran State Park

We loved our stay on Orcas Island. This rental was nicely located. Close to Eastsound for groceries and shopping, and even closer to Moran for lots of gorgeous hiking! The house was well-appointed and had everything you need. It is a professional property manager, so they are easy to reach and very responsive.

House was very nice - good light and fairly spacious. Beds were double bed (rather than queen beds) if that is important. Nice kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed sitting out on deck. There was a slight smell to the house, but maybe that was just leftover by the guests before us.

The home is well appointed and has more kitchen staples then mentioned in an earlier post. The deck furniture was plentiful and comfortable. The location was convenient to a few amenities but they are seasonal and the main Lodge is permanently closed. If you arrive after dark, be mindful of the narrow and curvy roads with no street lights.

Cute place but had a terrible smell we could not get rid of and the inside furnishings were old and out of date. Then loud noises in the middle of the night scared us.

Great location

We loved the location! The outside space was nice but the furniture could have been cleaner to sit on. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Bathroom was spotless, but kitchen could have been cleaner and maybe update some of the utensils and dishes. Bedding was comfortable. There were two deer that would nap under the deck and greet us in the afternoon when we would return after a day of exploring. We would recommend the Tree House for the quiet location and quick access to Rosario Marina, Cascade Lake, Moran State park and Eastsound.

Neat place

The tree house is in a nice location but could use some cleanliness and basic upgrades. Supplies such as coffee, aluminum foil, plastic wrap and storage containers were lacking. Don't think we would book this location again. Island was wonderful.

Cute house but very disappointed

Location was great and it was quiet except for the loud crashing noise that woke us up but the staff told us it was most likely a large racoons on the roof. We did not have any trash out. The house had a terrible oder like urine we could not get to go away but putting the old shaggy rugs out helped. We did not enjoy our stay but the location was great.

Cool house

The house was very unique and intentionally decorated. Coziness was sacrificed a little for style - the living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable. There were also no curtains over the numerous windows (aside from bedroom windows), which felt strange after dark. That said, the kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, the location is great, and I'd have loved to have weather good enough to enjoy sitting on the lovely deck.
