A Perfect Sunset Cottage on Lake Oconee!

Welcome to Sunset Cottage. Built in 2020, this home gets its name from its gorgeous sunset views! Enjoy days on the lake with your own dock and a relaxing evening around the firepit or in the brand new hot tub. You're on lake time with a main bedroom and fully equipped kitchen on the main level plus two additional bedrooms, a bar, and bunk bed on the terrace level! With outside porches on two levels, you won't miss the gorgeous sunset!

Wake up to the sun rising over the lake! Enjoy your morning coffee right outside your room overlooking the beautiful calm water! Two levels of porches designed for outside living in comfort, give you water views all day! A grill on the upstairs porch right off the kitchen allows for fun time together while preparing your meals!

Tons of fun including a hot tub, ping pong, foosball, kayaks, cornhole and plenty of board games for you to enjoy.

Beds: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 1 Bunk Bed and 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa.

We loved this house so much after staying here......we bought it! :-)

Beautiful clean home

My husband and my daughter with 5 of her friends had a fantastic weekend celebrating her 17th bday at this lovely home on lake Oconee. The host Shelly was very helpful and her home couldn’t have been any better for our weekend getaway. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Fantastic home on a peaceful cove

This was a great stay for us. The house was beautiful and modern with all the amenities. The kitchen was nice and the back covered porch was exceptional. Plenty of spaces for the family to spend time together (or apart! :-). The outside spaces were great. Sitting on the dock for sunrise and sunset were worthy of the trip. Host was UBER communicative and very very responsive and helpful. Best ever. Thanks Shelly for a great experience.

Relaxing family time

We loved the house! The floor plan was great and it had all the amenities we wanted. It was very clean - just delightful, really. We ate out on the covered deck every evening. We loved the fire pit and ping pong and the other games. Shelly was very responsive. Appropriately named Sunset Cottage! The sunsets were beautiful.

Amazing Stay at Lake Oconee!

This property at Lake Oconee is perfect! I would live here if I could. My daughter said it best, “Can we come back every year? This was an amazing get away!” I would highly recommend staying here. THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

It really doesn't get better than this. This is the perfect get away and the home is perfection. The home is beautiful, spotless, and equipped with everything you need for the perfect lake escape. From kayaks to the fire pit, games, hot tub, beautiful porch and deck to the well-stocked kitchen upstairs AND down, comfy beds, this is a must stay! I can't wait to go back. The owner was so accommodating and gracious as well!

We enjoyed our stay…making smores by the firepit, warming up in the hottub, watching TV while grilling on the terrace, and watching the sunset on the dock. We appreciated Shelly’s responsiveness when needed and the cozy atmosphere of the house.

We LOVED our stay at The Sunset Cottage and are already planning our next trip back! The view was even better than the pictures and there was so many things to do at the house. Especially loved the fire pit, kayaks, and hanging on the dock! 10/10!!
