”We booked the Silver Lake Pool and Inn for a one-night stay to celebrate a birthday. Four of us stayed in the the queen double room and we all absolutely loved it! The view of the hills and the neighborhood were gorgeous. We loved the furniture and design (it felt like a hip and groovy house) and the beds were comfy. We asked for a quiet room and were accommodated, no noise issues to report! Reesee and Perla checked us in, and they were sweet and very helpful and thoughtful. The valet service...

I’d say the only downsides for me is that there’s too many locks throughout the property (a total of 4 to go through before you can enter your room - 1 at the main entrance, 2 to enter the building and 1 to enter the room) and since there’s no on-site staff you have to message them on Expedia and wait for a response and they can be a little slow). ”The rooms and the facility was clean. The staff was super helpful and professional. I appreciated the safeguards in place, like keyed entry, and keyed elevator access, as this hotel is in downtown. We did not use the pool or fitness center on this stay.”

”It started on a good note, we came a day early and we could rent the room an extra day, quick response but weird, Venmo an individual before getting any information but ok. We got to the room and it was as cold as a refrigerator. I had read another review that there was only one shared thermostat in the house, so we found it on the fourth floor and it was set to air conditioner at 57° no problem, we turned the heat on to 66. That didn’t last long as someone kept setting it back to air...

”I chose the Metro Hotel Plaza because it’s so close to the Unity Station, and luckily this was also true. Unfortunately there wasn’t many other positives about the hotel. Rooms were on the larger side but rather dated. Mine had no ceiling light or wall sockets outside of a bathroom.
