”We very much enjoyed our stay at the iris however, on the first night, we tried to dine in the restaurant. We sat for 10 minutes without receiving a menu or water and got up and left.”

”Best hotel in Boston without question! The staff are exceptional, very friendly and attentive. The masseuses at the spa, especially (I believe her name was) Paula are very skilled and helpful with sore muscles and joints after traveling. La Padrona, Amar, and The Long Bar all have delicious food. I will definitely be back! ”

”The room was clean and spacious, but got quite damp after showering, meaning that I had to leave the bathroom light and fan on for the whole day in order for the room to not feel damp when I got back in the evening. Service was great and the patio and common room downstairs where comfortable and a nice addition overall.”

”Our plans had been to go to Fenway Park for baseball game. Walkable from here. Also walked to Beacon Hill and ate at Cheers bar. Mall and shopping close by. 7-11 across street.Great location in an old Victorian house”

”We enjoyed our stay at the Chester, the room was clean and decorated beautifully so it felt like a home rather than a hotel room. I’d highly recommend the restaurant right next door, Mida, but make a reservation. If you need quiet this isn’t the place for you as it’s near a busy intersection so there are frequent sirens and car noise but we got used to it and the positives definitely outweighed the negative! ”

”Great location for a train arrival or using public transport!
Back Bay in itself was advertised as ”the” location to be in, but we actually found it to be quite downtownish and quiet. Luckily good transportation is close and it’s convenient to move around Boston.
Hotel itself is good. Nothing to complain or to brag about. Beds are nice and rooms are clean and updated.”
