This is a quiet, secluded cottage with an “up-north” feel. You’ll be surrounded by nature with booming trees and limestone walls. The cottage is located on the Rock River with access to Lake Koshkonong.

Best relaxing getaway!
This property and cottage was even better than we expected! Jeff was always available and answered all questions promptly. The greenhouse and sunroom, (that overlooks the river) seemed to have healing powers! The entire cottage offered so many opportunities to recharge that you don't feel a need to 'go somewhere ' or 'do something '. Thank you, Jeff for sharing your wonderful home away from home with us.

Quiet weekend by the river
Stayed with 3 other adult friends. Location was secluded, quiet and definitely felt cabin-y. The huge yard was perfect for lawn games and sitting by the fire. We enjoyed how many places there were to sit, inside and out. Sleeping arrangements were great and the cabin was very well suited for hosting guests. Little things like sunscreen that we had forgotten were a nice touch. The river was a little off color. Some of our group swam but I wouldn’t book the place with intentions of being in the water all day. That said, if you’re interested in fishing, kayaking, or just having a lazy weekend with friends as we did, you’d be hard pressed to find a better setup.

Perfect place to stay
We were just in town for the weekend for my son’s college graduation. We wanted a place away from all the crazy crowds where we could relax. This place was perfect. The location next to the water was amazing. I enjoyed my coffee on the screened in porch in the mornings listening to the birds. The house had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay there

Great getaway!
This property was amazing! We decided on a short trip over Thanksgiving. Secluded with amazing views, we had great family-time which included some fishing on the dock. We shared the space on Friday morning with a flock of about 20 turkeys in the yard. We spent some time in the heated greenhouse on Thanksgiving, while the turkey cooked in the oven. Check-in and out was super simple. Nice recommendations for in-town restaurants in the included book left by the hosts. We would love to stay again during the summer months to take more advantage of the river. The house was super clean, well-decorated and supplied. Tons of space. The kitchen was huge and perfect for a family of four. Great time. Highly recommend! Just a note: the road leading to the house is gravel and super narrow, easy to miss. Be sure to stick to the left at the fork, otherwise you will be forced to attempt a three point turn or drive in reverse. Lol. That is what I had to do.

Lovely Cottage and Setting
The cottage was the perfect spot for our sisters’ retreat. Nice variety of sitting areas, indoor/outdoor, especially loved the screen porch. Well maintained, cozy, and nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Large fridge, kitchen island, and dishwasher a plus. Adequate cooking tools. We’d planned to do some cooking and brought our own favorite/necessary tools, which was helpful. Lovely walking on the country road leading in from the highway.

Exactly what we needed
Booked this property for a quick weekend getaway. We could have not asked for a better place. It was meticulously clean, had everything we could have needed and more, and was the perfect relaxing and private setting we were looking for. So many rooms to relax and enjoy great views from. Close to many attractions but still felt super private. Wish we could of stayed longer.
