VERY romantic getaway for 2! Year-round peaceful cabin among nature. Enjoy your own private dock, welcome to tie off your own boat or rent locally. Complimentary use of 2 kayaks. Paddle up and down the lazy Rock river or kayak into a nearby inlet leading to a creek and marshy area. Catch a bald eagle in action or spy a variety of heron fishing and nesting. Beautiful modern riverfront cabin near Lake Koshkonong's eateries and entertainment. Soak in the gorgeous Wisconsin summer with water activities at your fingertips. The rest of the year take in the pristine wonderland views in our enclosed balcony. Only 30 minutes from Madison's world class culinary experiences, performance arts, sports & festivals.

Luxurious modern interior of this little cabin. Nearly floor to ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the waterfront (Rock River) & DNR land making it private, especially in fall, winter & spring when boaters aren’t passing by in the summer (but it’s super fun to wave at them and enjoy a coffee on the balcony as they pass by). Large comfortable balcony with automatic remote screen to keep bugs out. Screens included on all windows and doors to bring in as much fresh air as you desire. Front includes deck with gas grill, chairs and table under tall trees and surrounded by pretty landscaping. Backyard includes fire pit, chaise loungers and dock.

NO PETS ALLOWED. Due to the soft cedar wood floors, no pets of any kind are allowed at our cabin to minimize flooring scratches. We want everything to remain as clean and nice for you, us, and every other guest who stays at the Blue Cedar House as possible. Leaving your pets behind will help us maintain a high level of beauty and comfort for many years to come (not to mention help you truly disconnect and enjoy a peaceful getaway!)

Feel free to bring your own boat and tie off at our doc. Public boat launch just on the other side of river at the Newville Public Boat Launch 10007 N Ellendale Rd. Edgerton, WI.

All kayak use must be in accordance with Wisconsin Law and local ordinances.
