”Generally speaking, this was a decent place to stay. It was clean and quiet, and spacious (with an inexplicable amount of unused space). The property was quite chilly at the time of arrival, and there is no thermostat in the house to enable guests to adjust the temperature to their comfort. It took a phone call and a message to the host to learn what to do regarding the chilliniess. She did respond—eventually—but it took about 2 hours to get a call back. ”This house was just perfect. Right in the middle of Madrid, walking distance to several great shops and restaurants. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio, listening to birdsong and taking in the mountain views. Even though we didn't travel with pets this time, we admire the accommodations that these hosts make available for travelers with pets. And the artwork! Goodness, staying here is like sleeping in your own private art gallery. The hosts are very talented artists.We had a tremendous stay....
