”Very nice small hotel. Nice Cafe, staff was great, wonderful first and second story decks with fire pits overlooking the ocean. Be aware that there is a $25 resort charge and $30 parking charge added to your total once you check in. With the mandatory resort fee come some benefits that are nice though. You could try parking on the street to avoid the parking fee but street parking is limited and not convenient. We loved our stay here, it was the highlight of our trip to Pismo.”

”Great option for traveling with pooch. The room we got, queen room with fireplace, felt a little cramped, however. Also, the firepit area is always occupied and sometimes by people who are not residents of the Cottage Inn. The free breakfast buffet is no longer free. Oh well. I still like the location as it is not too far from the steps to the beach and the staff is very friendly.”
