”Other than the smoke from the casino in the lobby, the stay was very nice. The smoke was really bad during the evening, but not so in the morning.”

”The hotel is an older property, but has been very well maintained. The staff were ultra-friendly!! The room was nice and airy, and (surprisingly) really bright. Most hotels don’t have enough lighting in their rooms, but this room was awesome!! The room was very clean, the beds were really comfortable. The pillows were lumpy, but overall everything in the room was great. The breakfast was too-notch. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in town.”

”If you’re looking for a real historical place to stay, this is it. Very well maintained..bathrooms in our building, Halpino, was excellent..all redone. Bed very comfortable, floors creeked but very old building. Breakfast was at another building you could walk too. Was excellent and fancy. Was in a further area from historic downtown but easy drive. Historic it is perfect for Vicksburg.”

”The first day our breakfast was great. It consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits and omelette. Since the first day’s breakfast was so very good I was looking forward to eating again, however that ended up being a disappointment. There were no scrambled eggs and no bacon, only omelette’s that appeared to be left over from the previous day. ”Never checked in because I didn’t read the fine print that nobody under 21 could stay here. I was traveling with two 19 year olds. It should really have that info somewhere other than opening another page to read the fine print. Made even a box you have to check before you checkout. The area was pretty run down, so maybe it was for the best we didn’t stay here anyways. Can’t speak on what the inside of the hotel looked like since I never went in.”

”The price seemed good until we walked in our room. Surely being a brand name casino, BALLYS, they would ensure their hotel bearing their name would be nice...nice enough even for a small Mississippi casino. It was bad. It looks like they bought an old motel that just happened to be connected to a casino. I was surprised there weren't hourly rates. It appeared Ballys/Hilton tried to update it with newer looking carpet but it didnt take away from the complete lack of upgrades anywhere else. ...

”The room was excellent, extremely clean and comfortable. Staff was good. The grounds were in somewhat of disrepair but it looked as if they were in the process of making repairs. It had what I needed for a good night sleep which was all that I wanted at the time.”

”This property is well located among other Victorian homes; it is quiet and clean. The property is very close to downtown for restaurants, museums and the MLK civil rights center. ”

”Uusi hotelli avattu keväällä 2011. Siisti hyvä hotelli missä palvelut pelasivat. Aamupala oli ravintolatyyppinen missä itse sain valita ruolalistalta haluamansa aamupalan, sai valita useampia vaihtoehtoja. Rakennustyön laatu oli tosi surkea, esim huoneemme ovea ei tahtonut saada Auki/kiinni koska lattia oli niin kuhmurainen. Vaatekaapin ovea ei saanut kiinni ja kylpyhuoneesta puuttui jalkalistoja jne. Avajaisilla lienee ollut kova kiire. Muuten OK paikka.”
