”Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. We stayed 6 nights in total and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the pool was so wonderful to swim in. We could borrow kayaks from the resort and kayak on the river too. So much fun and so relaxing. Thank you for a wonderful stay :-)”
”Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family.

”I loved Breakas Beach Resort! It's not a high-end, super-glitzy kind of place, but a very lovely, relaxed, simple place to stay where they still take care of your every need. The individual cottages, built of local rock, roofed with palm leaves, and scattered through the beautiful forest, are simple yet elegant. The food and drinks are excellent (watermelon daiquiris, yum!), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Activities and tours are available every day, plus lots of assistance...

The room where I was had a lot of space and the staff is very friendly. The wifi in the room was awful, kept going off all the time. The breakfast was pretty basic. ”M Resort & Spa is a fantastic getaway if you’re looking to avoid the crowds at the larger resorts. It’s quieter, more intimate, and the food quality really stands out, fresh, well-prepared, and clearly made with care.
One of the most touching things was how much the owners care about their resort dog, Coco. They had the vet visit multiple times, and it’s clear the entire team is compassionate and genuinely invested in the wellbeing of everyone, including the animals.
