”Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

”Great quiet location just outside of the main city, resort rooms were private but plenty of people in common areas (went in off season). Kids club was a huge letdown - zero kids and the indoor and outdoor area was dusty (literal dust on a box of toys brought out for my daughter). Babysitting through kids club was 1000vatu and staff were lovely but could have been more atmosphere there. Front staff were helpful when you made requests but could have more training in supporting patrons with...

”I loved Breakas Beach Resort! It's not a high-end, super-glitzy kind of place, but a very lovely, relaxed, simple place to stay where they still take care of your every need. The individual cottages, built of local rock, roofed with palm leaves, and scattered through the beautiful forest, are simple yet elegant. The food and drinks are excellent (watermelon daiquiris, yum!), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Activities and tours are available every day, plus lots of assistance...

”Quiet place, no need for a private pool! Even my bungalow next to the road (#20) was peaceful, and all three small resort pools were empty, cool, and surrounded by plants. Staff is available and not overly-solicitous. Feasible walk to large grocery store in town. Loved their attention to eco-friendly measures where possible. Not flood-lit at night, so you can see the stars & the moonlight shimmering in the lagoon. Walk up to their sister resort, undergoing renovations, to use the glorious...

”The bathroom was not very clean, there was hair in the shower that was not mine. I was also very disappointed that the tour I booked was cancelled only an hour before it was supposed to start. I had no idea it could be cancelled. I had no time to book another tour and my entire day was turned upside down.”

”Breakfast was same every morning and expensive considering that they actually didn't cook it. Just yogurt, white non tasty bread and croissant, juice and fruits. Staff kept forgetting thing all the time and I had to remind them every day to bring me breakfast and don't take my laundry basket away etc... When I politely complained about service for stuff, their reactions were not apologizing. Instead more like I they showed some tiredness or were not happy that I say about things... ”
