”Getting to the island involved catching the dedicated boat anchored offshore. Prepare to get wet! The journey was over an hour but with great views of Koh Ta Kiev island and others. We were welcomed by volunteers and Giovanni gave us a brief on arrival. We were shown to our accommodation which was just off the beach. The hut was on stilts and featured fairly comfortable beds with much needed mosquito nets, a balcony facing the sea, and complementary water. The activities on offer were varied...

”My room was perfect, I liked the desk, balcony and bathroom. The wifi did not work whatsoever and that was extremely annoying. There was a TV with no remote. The area around the hotel was quite eery, even during the daytime. It was a really built-up area, but there were barely any people around and I felt quite unsafe. It felt like there was no soul or life to the place. The hotel was okay though. ”

”Room - molding, wet dirty rooms. Smelly. No restaurants nearby, few taxi drivers to reach. ”

”When we got there the airconditioning was dripping on the bed. The drainage was blocked with algae. The crockery was dirty with soup stains. The two pots were burned beyond help. Only two small towels were provided, no hand towels or kitchen towel. The mattress protector was disgusting and they took it away when they changed the bed by turning it around. The bedsheets are fake, not cotton. Overall a bad experience and we do not recommend staying here. The management simply stopped communicating...

”When we arrived at reception people were rude as the bellboy. Room was noisy, from the shower water floated half of the bathroom. Breakfast was poor and 9:00 there was nothing to eat. There were supposed to be beach towels , but They were finished. Nobody Helped with the luggage as we left ”

Le personnel est incapable de nous indiquer des restaurants à proximité. Communication très difficile même avec Google traduction. Des insectes et des lézards habitaient dans la chambre. Nous avons eu des serviettes trop usées pour essuyer. Terrasse mal entretenue et lait périmé dans le réfrigérateur du marché. Le seul bon point, la piscine”

”First of all, check-in was a crap shoot; NO communication, got lucky I hitched a ride with another guest who was having same problem, still was kinda left standing during check-in, otherwise no staff existing for any issues with the room, stained pullout couch, terrible working elevators, silverware was non-existing, no china for coffee, TV wasn't working, pool had no towels and the lounge chairs were bolted stuck in a seated position, no cushions either, property was very difficult to find,...

”It is impossible to recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here on future trips. My first hint was when the hotel was not listed on rhe grab transport app, so I found myself standing on the side of the road at the bus stop at 11.30pm trying to work out how to find the place ... turns out their listing on wotif is different to the name of the actual hotel. I eventually arrived and was dropped off in a dingy back alley, picked my way past the street dogs, and managed to check in. Shown...
