”The fireplace was fully supplied with wood and fire starter. It was so warm and cozy on a very cold stay. Plenty room for 4 girlfriends getaway.”

”As I had found that this property was once owned by my 3X great granduncles I was fascinated by the history and walked in their footsteps. As I descended the original, narrow stairs with the low hand rails I imagined the original women in their high button shoes and hoop skirts more gracefully than me maneuvering them daily. It was a pleasant step back in time with it's antique atmosphere and original structure. It was my 48th wedding anniversary and staying at a family home made it even more...

”We didn't eat breakfast so no opinion on that!! The room was nice and staff was fantastic. Very nice and very helpful. We came for the cheese trail and SXS riding. Very nice area and the riding was fantastic too.”

”Greeted upon arrival and given tour and history of property. Short time later provided cheese tray and choice of wine on screened in porch with the other guests, followed by fresh baked cookies. Very enjoyable. Short walk to the downtown area for all the dining and shopping areas, great location. Room was very clean and in good condition. Slept very well on the bed. We will stay here again on another Galena visit. ”

”We had a wonderful stay here. Staff was great everywhere on the grounds. Food & service was good, a little on the higher price said. We did have the majority of our meals there as the drive to town isn't the closest. The slopes were well groomed. My son and I spent the entire day on them. The rooms were decent and clean. We are planning to return next year for more skiing fun. ”
