”Early season fishing was slow but productive. The property is very convenient to the public boat ramp (less than 1/4 mile) so easy access. And the beautiful sunrise over the lake is worth an early morning wake up. Qaint property, easy to use. Super friendly host.”

”Cypress Cottage was extremely well appointed/decorated with all the amenities necessary for a couple to stay at. The owner was gracious in letting us check-in early so we could drop our luggage off and get groceries and supplies for our 4day Memorial Weekend. My wife and I wanted just wanted to getaway as well as explore family history on my wife's side as her mother's lineage settled in Ivanhoe , NC in 1767. We saw historical family homes, grave yard and churches. It was just awesome!”

”My room was big, it had everything I needed, a bed, a tv, A/C, and great WIFI…. Very big and clean bathroom, they provided us with towels and we were able to utilize the kitchen area. The place is truly gorgeous, in the middle of a rural zone and really close to grocery stores. I stayed for 2 weeks and I was coming all the way from Costa Rica because I was helping my daughter move into college in UNCP, my daily trip from Lumberton to Pembroke was rather quick since it was only a 20km distance....
