”I’m limited in mobility, and my room was on the 2nd floor. No worry, the outstanding service by staff with genuine caring made the issue moot. My room was clean and spacious. Fresh coffee or tea available 24x7. Breakfast fresh with ample choices! But mostly, it was the kindness and consideration of staff, especially one young man, who will make this a go to for every future visit!!”

”Do not use in-room restroom. Check before using. Check room furniture for cleanliness and functionality. Breakfast options were minimal at best. Good luck”

”The establishment is clean overall, but my suite was outdated there was a big black weird stain on the carpet, and the tub was not clean. We were given tokens upon arrival to use at the bar for drinks or at the little store they have. Staff was kind and helpful.”

”Best lodging I had on my 10-day trip. And lowest price. Only one issue. The room had the newer low-profile Eljer toilet which is too low. I can’t sit on it without getting my bottom wet.”

”First time in Vermillion. Decided to go there and avoid outrageous room costs in Sioux Falls. I will go again. This was easy to get to and was a nice place.”

”The property upon entering did not smell pleasant. It was clean enough and not seeing any irregularities, I have to assume it is just an older property that could use some TLC. Once the AC was turned on in our room, the odor dissipated. The clientele appeared to be heavy construction workers. Being a property wirh suites and kitchen facilities, it would work well for them.”

”The hotel is definitely aged/old property. The entry breakfast area was very small and aged. It was clean. The room looked somewhat modernized, beds were comfortable. The bathroom was decent but old and battered. Lots of patching up on things. We were on the side of property facing the Hwy. It was noisy. The windows were old and thin. The actual breakfast of cereals, bagels, bread and waffles was very basic. Don’t drink the coffee. AC was fine. Was it the 8 plus rating it got ? NO. I would have...

”Breakfast was fair. Parking was very sketchy. The room curtains were stained as well as the sheets on one bed. The tub did not drain well during the shower which left you standing in water”

”The pool was closed, as we were told the water heater wasn't working. The hallway ceiling tiles had water stains. The shower-curtain rod was very rusted. Otherwise, the room was clean, but a little dated. The staff was friendly.. Don't expect an elaborate breakfast or wonderful coffee.”
