Inside features 1800 sqft of living space, 3 large bedrooms, a game room with a ping pong table, a fully stocked kitchen and a dedicated office space. Step outside to enjoy the deck, fire up the BBQ, or unwind while taking in the peaceful green space behind the home. The large driveway provides ample parking for vehicles and trailers—especially handy when you’re travelling with bikes, sleds or other outdoor gear.

Rockhard Fitness is in the building next door, offering convenient access for those looking to stay fit while on vacation. Please note that access to the gym is not included in the stay, but passes can be purchased through their website.

Our goal is to make sure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We do not live on the property, but you can reach us 24/7 via text if you need us for any reason.


CONSUMABLES
Please note that we provide a starter supply of consumables (toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc.) but do not provide refills during the stay.


CHECK-IN/CHECKOUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there`s something you need during your stay with us.

Tucked into a quiet residential area of Elkford, Rockhard Retreat puts you close to the everyday essentials while keeping the Canadian Rockies right outside your door. Green space behind the property adds to the peaceful setting, while the home’s roomy driveway and trailer-friendly parking make it especially convenient for guests arriving with bikes, sleds or other outdoor gear.

Known as the Wilderness Capital of British Columbia, Elkford is a small mountain community surrounded by rugged peaks, rivers and seemingly endless backcountry. The area offers more than 30 kilometres of scenic trails, with options ranging from relaxed walks and family-friendly loops to mountain biking, cross-country skiing and more challenging alpine adventures.

During the warmer months, spend your days hiking to local viewpoints, exploring the Lost Lake and Lily Lake loops, fishing the Elk or Fording rivers, riding nearby trails or playing a round at Mountain Meadows Golf Course. When the snow arrives, Elkford becomes a playground for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Wapiti Ski Hill offers family-friendly downhill skiing right in town, while the surrounding Elk Valley is home to extensive Nordic and snowmobile trail systems.

Rockhard Family Fitness is located directly next door for guests who would like to fit in a workout during their stay. Access is not included with the home and must be purchased separately through the gym.

**NOISE MONITOR**
The home has a NoiseAware monitoring device in the main living room, which monitors decibel levels to ensure quiet times are respected. Please note that this device does not record audio.


**POTENTIAL FOR NOISE**
Please note that Rockhard Fitness is in the building next door, and noise from people dropping weights may be heard from time to time.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation, you agree to the following:
* You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
* You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and a matching credit card prior to check-in.
* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. No parties or events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed 6 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property, including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. No pets of any kind are allowed on this property.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. The hot tub and laundry room areas are locked off and not for guest use.

7. The gym (Rockhard Fitness) next door is available on a pay-per-use basis. Passes can be purchased online through their website.
