Welcome to Sunrise Cottage on Beech Hill Pond. This beautiful vacation home is in a shallow cove w/crystal clear water. Sleeps 8 people comfortably, w/ 2 bed/1.5 baths plus a cozy loft.Enjoy the sunrise on the large elevated deck, here you'll have a front row seat to view small planes take off & land in the cove. Enjoy sitting in the sun on the dock or on our private sandy beach. Located close to Ellsworth, Trenton, Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park. Ask about our pedal boat available for rent.
The space
WELCOME to our cottage on Beech Hill Pond! We are located at the end of the lake in a peaceful, shallow cove. Our included amenities (see list below) will make your stay as active or relaxing as you want.

GREAT VIEWS
This spacious cottage is located close to the water with an amazing view of the lake from the kitchen counter, living room, dining area and the deck.

THE HOUSE
There's plenty of room here for your group to spread out or hang out together inside and outside.

As you walk inside the main level from the top of the driveway, you will find a full bathroom to the right, along with stackable laundry unit.

There's a LOFT AREA open to the main floor with a queen and a full sized bed. This space is best suited for kids ages 6 and up. It’s a bit small for adults.

SUPERVISION ON THE LOFT*********.
Watch your head while moving around up there.
Due to the lack of space and design of the loft we ask that you LIMIT the amount of people to 4 at a time.

Back on the main floor, off the living and dining area there's a sliding glass door that opens to a large deck. There's a stairway in the living room that leads to the walk-out basement. Here you will find a family room area with large windows and French doors that go out to the backyard and lake. This room has two pull out sofas with queen sized beds and two chairs for sitting and relaxing or watching a movie on TV. Down the hall there's a half bath, utility room and linen closet along with another bedroom with a king sized bed and large closet with barn doors.

This is a non smoking property. No smoking of anything, anywhere, inside or outside. We’ve had issues in the past and decided to change our rules. Please do not book this property if you are a smoker or anyone in your group is. You will be asked to leave with “no refund” if you are found breaking this rule. Booking this reservation confirms you agree to this rule and all the house rules. Thank you.
Guest access
Guests will be able to access the entire property except for the closet under the stairs to the basement and the large shed outside.

**RESERVATIONS**

We allow 8 people total, including children, to stay at the cottage. All guests must be listed with their full names in the reservation per Airbnb rules. Airbnb will cancel your reservation and ask you to leave the property if more guests arrive than listed in the reservation.

-Waterfront Fire Pit, with small amount of firewood for you to use. They sell bundles of firewood at the Otis General Store which is about a mile away.

-Corn Hole (Bean Bag Toss Game)

-2 Lounge chairs, picnic table, extra outdoor plastic chairs

**NOTE** Our dock will be in the water mid May - October.

**BOAT RENTAL**
- We have a 4 person Sun Dolphin pedal boat for rent. Please message me for details before your stay to be sure it’s available and ready for you.

**GAMES**
There's a cabinet in the living room with a variety of family games to play. Feel free to use these and return them back to this cabinet when finished.

NOTE~ We keep a guest book on top of this cabinet. Please take a minute before leaving to write a short note about your stay and where you're from.

**COTTAGE WATER SUPPLY**

The cottage has a LAKE DRAWN WATER SYSTEM, which is typical for properties on the lake in our area. We have a heat pump water heater in the utility room and a heated line so we are able to use the water from the lake year round. We have a water cooler located in the kitchen and will provide you with the water for drinking, cooking, making coffee etc. We keep extra water cooler bottles under the loft stairs and in the utility room in the basement.
*Please remember to not drink the water from the faucets.*

**INTERNET**
----------------

Our internet is provided by a small local company. We have purchased the fastest package they offer, which is 100 MB. Some times it works faster than others. We usually are able to stream shows on Netflix and work on our laptops with no problems.
