”the descriptions and pictures were accurate and the property was absolutely stunning. we enjoyed the beauty and the solitude and were close enough to Acadia to enjoy all that was available in day trips. The kitchen was very well equipped which made our culinary efforts a joy. The property manager was very responsive for any quesitons we had. I highly recommend this property!”

”What a special place! Close to everything but tucked away at the end of a private road. The view is beautiful and it’s a very private and peaceful setting. Our dogs loved it and we really appreciate the gates around the deck for them. And the addition of fall mums around the property was such a nice touch! Chris the host couldn’t have been nicer. Would absolutely stay here again!”

”We had a fabulous stay at the Aspen cabin. The kids swam and paddled for hours in the beautiful pristine water of Little Tunk. The sunsets and then the stars in the clear dark sky were spectacular! We are definitely excited to return next summer.”

”The cabin was great. King size bed was better than our own bed. Never slept better. Our host answered all the questions I had. The cabin was stocked with anything you needed to fix meals and bathroom was also stocked. The area was very quiet. Even watched a deer walk thru the property. It was conveniently located to Acadia National Park and we made use of the Island Explorer bus system. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area of Maine. Highly recommend this VRBO.”

”We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, nice kitchen, even a really good place for dogs. We had everything to be comfortable. At nights the sky was breathtaking. The only problem was the mattresses. They kept creaking. Backyard was amazing! We had a such a relaxing time.”

”Very cozy cabin. Was nice for our family to stay in on a quiet vacation to end our summer. The only small downside to our stay was the gap between the stairs and the porch was wide enough that our toddler's foot fit in the crack. She stepped into it and gave herself a nice bruise. Not anything that took away from the stay - just something for others to be mindful of. Would happily book again! ”

”This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again.”

”We stayed at the Boathouse for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted and more. The space is rustic yet comfortable and has a kitchenette that allowed us to make breakfast in the mornings and enjoy coffee and tea alongside our favorite feature, the wood stove. The shower had hot water and the outhouse was comfortable. We were able to unplug from it all and left feeling so rejuvenated. Hope to be back soon!”

”Surrounding woods and area definitely exceeded my expectations. A truly amazing clean green almost untouched area with clear waters and piney forests.
