”Cons: Unfriendly manager, would not extend stay. 3 story building and no elevator!!! No room cleaning until you leave. No queen bed. Carry your own luggage to the 3rd floor. Imagine that! Pros:Close to stores, over all clean.”

”The staff was really helpful during checkout and morning breakfast was nice. Also hot coffee & chocolate all day long was a good addition. Hotel was clean and well kept, pool was smelling of chlorine (didn’t use).”

”We stayed overnight while on our way home from Canada. The motel is older but refurbished and extremely cute. The staff was very helpful. The room was super clean. They even left us snacks and drinks (soda & water) which was a very nice touch. Would definitely stay again.”

”We stayed in the motel portion. The location is convenient and our room was ok, but the bathroom had a sliding door with no locking mechanism, which is quite ridiculous when there is a family staying in the room. When I emailed the property twice about this, both emails were ignored. Similarly, I messaged them with a request for "late" checkout (11 am, since their checkout is a ridiculously early 10 am), I received no response.”

”When arrived to check in, we went to the assigned room which had not been cleaned or made up since the prior guests. Reservation was cancelled by the receptionist. Thankfully!!”

”The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. The airport across the street was charming and we enjoyed watching the planes take off and land. Thank you to these great hosts!”

”This property was close to Bar Harbor with a view on one side. Quiet and very peaceful. Excellent service. Cleans rooms.”

”This is a lower priced motel in the Bar Harbor area. I have watched the upkeep and general condition of the property decline over the past few years. Also wireless service was nearly useless, a real aggravation when checking times or making reservations, or even to find local businesses and restaurants.”
