It has Shared access with the main lodge (where we currently reside) the barn offers its own privacy. Your view from the back deck is secluded and gives you tons of privacy. The property is six miles north of Elmira, MI. All roads leading to Lonesome Grouse Lodge are off the beaten path. You can’t see any neighbors and will rarely hear a car. There is no light pollution; a clear night will reveal the millions of stars you’ve been missing in the city. The bird watching is plentiful. The flowers are blooming. The smores are waiting to be cooked.

1000 SQ foot guest house/ barndominum with private back patio. You will very rarely see us other than to share a camp fire or In passing in the driveway. We do have a small dog (Frenchie) and younger kids in tow.

There is a mile and half walking trail around the property and access to all 60 acres for hiking, snowshoeing or a picnic. You Can grill out while hanging out in your own hammocks (summertime).
