Et voi vain kuvitella kaikkia mahdollisia hauskoja kodin helmi vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Atlantin valtamereltä. Sisällä astut olohuoneeseen, jossa on modernit päivitykset, mutta runsaasti rento, retro viileys. Puulämmitteinen takka ja taulutelevisio ja stereo lupaavat viihtyisää rannikkoilmapiiriä surffailla muistomerkkien ohella ja mukavan kokoelman sisustukseen, joka herättää rentoutumista.

House is absolutely adorable and has everything you need. It’s perfect for an adult getaway. We went with our adult children to explore the area. We enjoyed the pool, the beach is less than a five minute walk and it’s a super quiet neighborhood. We were very comfortable all week and loved watching fish jump in the water behind us and hearing all the birds above. A peaceful and perfect week for this family in a great little house

Overall this was a nice rental house, cutely decorated, with lots of fun pillows and throws everywhere; definitely appreciated the beachy boho aesthetic. It was also well-stocked in terms of lots of products like shampoo/conditioner, lotion, even dry shampoo and bug spray! This is very unexpected for a rental property, but very nice and thoughtful. They need to add kleenex though!The house also had great beach toys, my daughter really enjoyed them! Not much in the way of pool toys (a ball and one inflatable that we didn't end up getting out, but not much else), but we brought our own so it was fine. The pool was awesome; we didn't get it heated, but in late August it was wonderful. Definitely the best feature of the house! The house overall was very clean, which I know can be challenging for beach houses, so we appreciated that a lot. As a few other reviewers noted, though, there's a STRONG smell of moth balls, especially downstairs / upon first walking in; we opened all the doors and windows when we got there to try and air the place out, which helped, but even when we left we could still smell it. I understand wanting to keep the moths away, but man - there's got to be a less pungent way.Communication with the host was pretty good; the oven malfunctioned while we were there, and it took a bit to get a response (and even then, it didn't end up getting addressed while we were there - which was ok, it still worked). Being able to text her was very nice.

We had a great stay at surf cove despite the rainy weather! We enjoyed the comfortable warm vibe of the house. Had plenty of area to spread out and relax. The walk to the beach was very easy. The house was very clean and had everything we needed.

We really enjoyed our time at this location. We had no problem checking in and the kitchen was well-appointed. It was a nice kitchen for cooking in with plenty of dishes and cooking equipment. One of the main highlights for us was the saltwater pool. It was great for hanging out in the evening after a long day at the beach or out visiting other barrier islands in the area. The layout of the house was great with the master bedroom downstairs. We barely heard the kids in the two bedrooms upstairs and slept great. It even has a twin outside the master in case a sleeping partner is a little loud, lol. We set up a video game system on the TV downstairs and that was a great hangout area. The house is a 5-7 min walk to the beach, but the road was very busy and a bit sketchy to cross during peak time (July) so I dropped the family off versus walking after a couple trips. The nearest beach access was great and never too crowded. The house is far enough off the business of the bridge areas to be away from the crowds, yet close enough to get to the grocery stores and restaurants easily. The house is decorated really cool and gives a great beachy vibe. I loved the downstairs picnic table for staging things to take out the next day. We caught some crabs from the sound off the dock, but it was too shallow to fish, but fun either way. Bathrooms were nice, plenty of towels, blankets, pillows, and lots of pool and beach items. A great location thats very functional for our family of four.

Cutest beach house

We had a great stay at Surf Cove! The house was adorable and had all the things that we needed for our stay. There was plenty of room and having the pool was great. It was a short walk to the beach and fun watching the tide change from the back dock. The house was very clean and the communication and check in was really easy. This rental had the best surf beachy vibe and we had a great time! We would stay here again.

Hot vacation!!!

It’s a nice place and the amenities are wonderful! It could use more comfortable seating. The couch and all the furniture is very low on the floor and hard to get up off of. The beds sleep good but the king bed downstairs again is low on the floor. Melissa was good to work with.

Fall beach trip

We enjoyed everything about this house !!!! if you want a place that has everything this is your house!! All you need to bring is your suit case and family !!! We have been renting houses for years! this house has the best beds!!! All of them including the kids beds were wonderful!! Host was excellent as well!! The trip to the beach was a short ride! We also enjoyed the canal view as well! CLEAN!!! CLEAN!!!house!!

2024 Beach Trip

Not having a front yard threw us off for a second but dont let that run you off from a great house tucked away in a great location. Houses all around but felt like we had our own safe spot hidden away. Short walk to beach, clean pool, private dock, fire pit, clean kitchen, bath rooms, and showers. We enjoyed the new porch in the evenings to catch a views of the sound while we ate outside. The swings and hammocks facing the water was a nice bonus. The time my wife spent in the swing holding our sleeping daughter while watching the water was priceless. The whole house has a relaxing feel inside and out. We would have no issue bringing friends and family back to enjoy this place. Glad we chose this for our first family trip with our little girl.

Wonderful laid back & relaxing house

A Hidden Gem

What a wonderful week at Surf Cove! It was by far the cutest and most eclectic little cottage we have ever stayed in! It was the perfect size for our family of four. You feel like you’re in your own little oasis with the location being tucked away. Melissa was a wonderful host and very quick to respond with any questions I had. Great Getaway

We enjoyed our time at this unique property. The listing was accurate and house was clean. We had two little ones with us and we had to make a few accommodations (exactly as was stated in the description), but overall they enjoyed the home with no issue. Melissa was prompt responding to all questions and even provided service after the sale by shipping back a stuffed animal we left. Great location and I would recommend.

The host was amazing, helpful. and welcoming! We had an amazing getaway! The heated pool was great as well as the outdoor firepit and Kayaking. A short walk to the beach and the house was in a nice private spot. We definitely would recommend this house and will most likely return in the future!

Great family stay

Property was as described. Really neat spot. East walk to the beach as well. We spent the majority of our time hanging out at the house and swimming in the pool. The kids ages 3-5 were content to play with the train tracks and swim all day.

Wonderful!

The house is a cozy, peaceful , sweet beach cottage that I never wanted to leave! Easy beach access, thoughtful touches and a very cool retro vibe. The pool is great for lounging in after the day at the beach, and the fire pit is a great cherry on top! Would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!!
