Center of Emerald Isle, private beach parking lot! The beach access is just over a block from Bogue Inlet Pier where there are public restrooms, shopping, a restaurant and great fishing! Very short walk or drive to the private beachfront parking in gated lot with showers onsite at the access. The access fob used for the gated lot is provided with the home. Very short walk to “downtown Emerald Isle” where there are shops, restaurants and nightlife. 3 minute walk to Cedar Street pier on the sound. Linens provided, including bath & beach towels, washcloths and kitchen towels. Charcoal grill onsite. Large driveway for boats and multiple vehicles. Outdoor shower at the house. Quiet, dead end street, open floor plan, king in master and queens in 2nd & 3rd bedrooms. Pullout sofa in living room. 500 mbps Internet - Spectrum Ultra package! Dish and hand soaps are provided. First couple of trash bags are provided.

Pros: Great location on a quiet street, easy walking distance to the sound, modest walk to shops, short drive to the beach. Gated lot for the beach access was a big plus, but keep in mind you're quite close to the Pier with all the crowds, surfers and fishermen. The owner was easy to communicate with and quickly delivered the beach chairs that are mentioned in the listing but not actually kept at the property.Cons: House was barely cleaned. Floors were sandy, cobwebs in the bathrooms, moldy shower in one bathroom, house had a persistent moldy odor. The furnace filter, visible in a closet, likely has never once been changed. The furnishings are as pictured, but fairly uncomfortable once you have a chance to sit in them. If you've ever wondered what a house would be like if you bought everything from furniture to mattresses to linens at Walmart, this is the place for you.

Spring Break

My husband and I had a wonderful time visiting Emerald Isle with our golden lab. The house's location makes it easy to walk to restaurants, the bakery, and around town. The turtles at the end of the lane are entertaining to watch and fun to feed. The owners are a pleasure to work with and quick to respond to any questions or problems. We really enjoyed our time away.

Wonderful home in great location!

My family stayed here for New Years Eve and the house was absolutely perfect. The open layout with kitchen, dining area and living room made for a very cozy and comfortable hang out area, and the three bedrooms was perfect for our family and mother in law. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed Location was perfect with a quick walk to the sound, minutes from shops and restaurants, and a very short drive to everything the island has to offer. Communication was great and made for an easy check in and check out. Definitely recommend!

Family reunion for Thanksgiving

We traveled from VA to Emerald Isle to get together with our Swansboro family for a visit and great Thanksgiving meal. The cottage was an ideal dog friendly home in a great dog walking neighborhood. Owner was very respond prior to our stay.

Emerald Isle Paradise

This property was very well maintained. Both outside and inside. Every time you reached for something or needed something it seemed to be right where you would expect to find it. WELL STOCKED KITCHEN. Big pot, small pots, bowls, Tupperware. Even a labeled "popcorn bucket". The hostess was 110% responsive to all questions and requests and she is lovely. Can't go wrong with this pick! And the beds and that master shower!!!! Whoooweee great 👍

We had 6 adults and 2 children who stayed this weekend. The house was very up to date and clean. None of us had a single complaint. Nice location and quick access to the beach. I contacted the owner with a question on the first day and she was quick to answer my call and very friendly. We would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Perfect Anniversary Trip

The property was exactly what our family needed to be comfortable at the beach. The outdoor shower was fantastic for getting the sand off of everything. Inside was just enough space for everyone to be comfortable. We look forward to coming back again.

We had 6 adults and 2 kids and this house worked great for us! The private beach parking lot was nice and less than a mile away, could easily walk if you weren’t bringing a lot with you to the beach. The outdoor shower at the house was great and had the best water pressure of all 3 showers. Nice place!
