The holiday apartment is in quiet surroundings on an ancient summer embankment, only about 4km from the North Sea, between Niebüll and Emmelsbüll in Südtondern in North Frisia.

There is garden furniture on the terrace in front of the relax, so you can really relax. Or you can enjoy the sunshine and at night the endless starry sky over North Frisia. Nothing obscures your view here, perhaps the odd cloud. There is a car parking space right by the house.

It is a fully and charmingly furnished apartment on the first floor of an old thatched Frisian house from the year 1860. It is suitable for up to six people. The big bedroom is furnished with a double bed and two single beds one behind the other. The beds are already made on arrival. Woollen blankets are available for colder days. There is also a fold-out sofa bed in the living and dining room for two further guests. The built-in kitchen is equipped with everything you need: coffee machine, toaster, microwave, four-ring hob and oven, fridge, mixer, steam iron, vacuum cleaner, crockery, glasses, cutlery etc. Tea towels and hand towels are included. The living room provides a bookshelf, sideboard, coffee table, a round table with four chairs, a sofa, satellite TV and a radio with a CD player. The bathroom/WC is fully tiled.

A holiday here at the embankment means relaxation and leisure in a very maritime climate, like on the North Frisian islands, but with less wind. The thermal conditions and the purity of the air promote well-being. The maritime climate provides good conditions for increasing your energy levels for when you return back home. There is a lot to explore from here, as far as the Baltic Sea and Flensburg (45km), Husum (42km), Tondern (Denmark)25km, the island of Römö (Denmark) with the widest sandy beach in Europe, and of course the islands. If you enjoy fishing, there is a fishing lake just 200 metres away and it is 5km to a lovely lake for swimming, also suitable for small children. In poor weather, Niebüll has an indoor pool and there is a Nature Museum . The leisure pool in Leck provides fun for the whole family.

All the rooms are fitted with radiators and laid with high-quality laminate or tiles. Two dogs are welcome. Sometimes you can hear a rustling under the thatch, that will by “Nis Puk”, the good, invisible, Frisian house spirit. The apartment is in a Nordic style with exposed beams and pine furniture. All the windows afford a wide view over the fields.
