”Jeff was very responsive and knew when we were going to be there. It was obvious he was monitoring to assure we accessed the property without issue (which we did). The 2 bedroom worked well for us. Good water pressure in the shower (a must). In unit washer/dryer, which is handy if you're taking advantage of any of the numerous lakes/rivers in the area. Great location to use as a home base to explore the whole region. I would stay here again.”

”This was a great budget friendly option for our family. Home was very clean and well appointed. The AC units worked well, we just wish there had been one in the room with 2 beds. We liked the short drive to major attractions, but wish we had realized how close the house was to the major road/thoroughfare. There was noticeable road noise whenever the AC units were not running. I am not sure we would stay there again, but appreciated finding something in the area that was the right size for us and...

”The property was very convenient and available when we needed to book it (rather last-minute). I thought the price was a little steep, but we were only able to stay a single night with prior flight rezzies. We were grateful to our host for being so accommodating. Everything in the house is lovely. There were a couple of repairs in progress, but we were clearly staying for only one night during a bumper season, so we didn’t mind at all. The house was quite cold (60 degrees) when we checked...

”We stayed for almost three weeks and, unfortunately, it did not meet the standard represented in the listing.Basement/ventilation: The lower level had a strong musty, dank “Michigan basement” odor that permeated throughout the house. DampRid & air fresheners provided little relief. Windows were often inoperable, lacked screens, or would not stay open. The basement had exposed wiring and insulation, not suitable for guest use as described.Air conditioning: The floor unit in the kitchen/dining...
