”Nice place. Good breakfest, nice and helpful people”

”Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast.”

”We stayed at The Royal Swan Ashley Manor. Wickham for one night, my birthday Halloween day. This hotel was excellent, very clean rooms with all that you needed. Twin room with buffet breakfast and pre ordered cooked English breakfast, all just great. Staff all very friendly and happy. Good sized parking bays for my large car. Walked 10 minutes to a local pub. great atmosphere on this special day. Would definitely stay again.”

”For those planning to visit the dockyard, you can't get any better. We had a great view of HMS Warrior from our window. The hotel is directly across the street from the rail station and the bus station and about 100 yards from the main entrance to the dockyard. The owner was very nice and accommodating. The room was very modern and well kept.”

”I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2.”

”Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - food and amenities were really good”

”This property is in an excellent location for Chichester centre and for Goodwood Racecourse. The owner was lovely. Friendly and approachable. Cleanliness is a priority for us and this accommodation was first class. Breakfast options were varied to suit all tastes and we loved the fresh fruit (not always the case in many places we have visited). It was a relaxing environment to start the day, especially chatting about Art. We have learned so much about Sculpture and certain Sculptors after our...

”Very friendly welcome. A very comfortable stay. Thank you”

”Ver helpful in arranging the parking. Well-kept home. Thanks”

”This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area.”

”Really lovely place to stay, lots of nice features - honesty bar with QR code to pay, with range of products including Champagne, also similarly, drinks in room and snacks. Visually, very well designed, boutique experience. I booked late at night after cancelled ferry and was contacted by owner immediately with information re stay.”

”A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly”

”The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food and beer is good and great value. Parking is a bit tight, so arrive early if you are checking in! If you want to eat, make sure you reserve a table. We found out the hard way on Saturday lunchtime that you can't always get a meal, even if you are a resident. Other than that, it's a good place to stay. It's quiet at night due to the location and the fact that the bar isn't open until late.”
