”Looks like it has been newly refurbished. Our room was beach facing with a lovely balcony. TBH we were so surprised how good it was. Everything was new and clean. Big swivel tv and lovely faux fireplace.”

”For the price, this is excellent value. Clean, friendly, access to the pub. They don't have a bistro but made sure we knew where to get food. Everything you need to make an overnight stay worthwhile. ”

I was acutely conscious that other people were in the next bedroom and we felt constrained with talking and TV volume etc. I booked it thinking it a hotel but it was like a strangely converted family home. I don't think the pictures make it clear what you are getting.”

The towels were the same. The bathroom was in the process of being renovated; new vanity didn’t quite fit so there are missing skirting and mismatched paint. The “inviting lounge” area is anything but. The help yourself fruit and nuts were all way past deadline date. And stools along the front bench were...
