”The cottage was perfect for how we wanted to spend our getaway. Dinners out, fishing, beach and long walks. I could make breakfast and put together lunch for our outings. It was wonderful having our dog and meeting Noodles….the owners dog who is absolutely darling. My husband and I will keep this location in our favorite file for the future!!!”

”We love Ocracoke, been on and off for many years! The Charter Room had all the amenities we needed. Golf cart rental through the place was also an easy process, and we enjoyed the usage. On a quiet street just off the main area of the village. Close to everything. The rooms were very neat and the cleanliness was outstanding. Thanks for having us!”

”This is the perfect cabin for a nature getaway! Spacious, comfortable, wonderful lake views, I was disappointed I had to leave. Jeff was quick to correspond and his home had everything needed to have a wonderful vacation. There are no big grocery stores nearby so Jeff let me know in advance so I could purchase foodstuffs on my way before I checked in. ”If your goal is to get away from the beach crowds and experience nature, this well kept home on the bay is a wonderful spot to experience moments like beautiful sunsets and gazing at the Milky Way. With the entrance to Alligator River Wildlife Refuge just a few miles down the road, you'll have the chance to see some cool things. We had a magical encounter with a black bear who scratched his back on a tree and wandered by right in front of us. Thanks Jo Lynn and Bob for sharing your home with us...

”For the price and location this place is great. We were able to bring our medium size dog and walked to almost everything we needed to. The house is a little worn down, a missing tile on the floor or doors not completely able to shut but can be easily over looked because of location and accommodations. The house is big with three different bedrooms and a big open floor plan, we could host family dinners if we needed. We have already booked for next year.”
