Mökit – Englishtown

”This resort has yurts and domes as well as rooms in the lodge. The yurts and domes do not have their own baths. The lodge rooms where we were did. The room had a double bed and a single. The double was quite comfortable, the single not so much. Our room was on the bottom floor. There was a restaurant attached and the option to have a package with breakfast and dinner. ”This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. ”Cozy cabin in the woods, our dog didn’t want to leave. The bed was a double but we slept better in it than we did with some queen beds. The cabin can get warm for summer but we were able to create a good cross breeze by opening both windows and using the fan provided. It is a beautiful glamping experience. The compost toilet was the biggest adjustment for us. The ferry nearby can be a little noisy if sitting outside but hardly ever noticed it in the cabin. Unfortunately the trails and sauna were...
