Staff are generally helpful and keen but some could do with more training - especially the hostesses and reception wrt providing accurate information and being knowledgable about basic questions such as valet, charging the correct method of payment, whether there are tables reserved for hotel guests, etc. Special shoutout to Steve, nevertheless, who went above and beyond - which made up for all of the others’ hiccups. ”When booking I wanted a true Savannah feel and this is exactly what I was hoping for! Two houses combined together and the room we had was grand, clean, well decorated. Felt like a piece of history. Check in and out were easy. The neighborhood is so cute and we walked to the river while enjoying the streets of Savannah. Highly recommend!”

”This was our first time in a bed and breakfast. The staff was delightful. Property was clean. Location is perfect for shopping and walking in the historic district. I’m giving it 5 stars for what it is-but it’s not a five star hotel. It’s an old house! The food was better than what I would cook but if you love breakfast I hear there are some gourmet breakfast places in Savannah. I would stay here again and recommend to a friend for an affordable bed and breakfast. ”

”Great location to all attractions in downtown area. Trolley stop is right across the street and River street is 5mins walk. The Georgia Queen sunset cruise boat landing dock is also closeby, about 10 mins walking. Very convenient for first timers. Parking is easy and no extra cost. ”
