”WiFi was very slow, bed was hard, pillows were very flat and hard, 1 elevator was broken with no “out of order” sign, no outlets by the bed - we both use cpap machines and the cords barely reached the outlet on the other side of the room, and no shampoo or conditioner. No A/C, but that seems to be common in the surrounding areas-the window did open for cooler air. Food in the bar was great but the service was a little slow. ”

”Room cold and decor needs to be upgraded. Breakfast mediocre. Evening meal was incredible as was spa. Some small tweaks would have made a huge difference. Staff were lovely. ”

”Lovely property but getting to rooms difficult and very small elevator. Asked for help with luggage and all he did was bring up trolley. We are 4 seniors. Dinner in hotel lovely but need more experienced help. She was only about 16 and couldn’t answer any questions nor figure out how to do two bills. A hotel of this quality needs better staff”

”We had the most wonderful stay in Katie's Cottage. We met the lovely host Caroline on arrival and we couldn't have gotten a warmer welcome. There was fresh scones with jam and butter and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The house was absolutely immaculate with loads of fresh towels and bed linen. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. The surrounding area is stunning and the cottage was a great base to explore all of this. The cottage is...
