”I stayed here with my wife to do the Saint-Emilion (wine) experience for few days during our anniversary trip. We wanted something in a walking distance for food, drinks and stuff but not being in the Saint-Emilion village center. Also the place had to have the "feeling". Clos 1906 could not have been a better discovery. This small hotel is extremely nice and recently renovated with a very good taste. The backyard with a pool is a nice hideout to chill and watch over the hills for vineyards....

”Most of the amenities weren’t available but the beauty of the chateau and the kindness of the caretakers more than made up for it. If you’re looking for a quiet place to soak in the countryside, this is it. Serene, quiet and beautiful If you don’t have a vehicle be sure to stop at the grocery before heading in. Breakfast is provided but you’re on your own for anything else. The shared kitchen is easy if you’re prepared. I would absolutely recommend a stay at this peaceful chateau away from...
