”Toilests are filty and run down the bathrooms have no proper shower and hot water .Cochroches everywhere no eating utensils no sheets on the bed only tiny blanket. Power points arent working, fan turn on no control full blast only. ”We recently stayed at the Ramada Resort in Port Vila and overall had a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which really made a positive impression. ”The lagoon view was gorgeous! I arrived at midnight, do I didn't know what I would see when I woke up. The staff was just awesome ❤️ Even with the time of crisis (series of earth quakes), they went over and beyond all expectations. They became my friends, my overseas family. ”The biggest asset to this hotel is their staff everyone was friendly, helpful and engaged with the kids. From the initial welcome from the chief to departing the hotel everything was great. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Vanuatu .. ”

”The whole team were so welcoming and helpful. Petter and Anna are lovely and accommodate any needs. Shout out to the dive team as well who showed me the house reef. ”Location was good, resort rooms/apartments need work as the are aged and run down, only 1 kayak didn’t leak, no bikes, grounds and pool/deck was good, iguanas are locked in a small cage with nothing and overcrowded (should be at least a small bird aviary with a tree/shrub them in it), food was good, u have to ask for rooms to be serviced (u might get it). We had no water a few times and couple of nights, Beach was good. ”

”Kaiken kaikkiaan hotelli oli hyvä. Huoneeni oli mukava, hiljainen ja hyvän kokoinen (se oli Orchid-huone). Nettiyhteys tosin pätki - viihdekäytössä se ei niin haitannut, mutta esim. etätöihin se ei toimisi, koska kokouksista ei tulisi yhtään mitään. Hotellin uima-allas oli ihan kiva, mutta jostakin syystä sillä oli tosi hiljaista, joten siellä sai olla rauhassa. Hotellin sijainti oli ihan Port Vilan keskustassa (200 m parlamentista) ja lähellä oli sekä ravintoloita että ruokakauppoja. Kaupunki...

”Food offerings were pretty standard, although the Teppanyaki was awesome. Pool was very good. Boat to the Erakor resort for Lunch/Dinner was very useful. Significant refurbishment from 8am to 5pm was annoying, made it difficult to relax on the verandah - due to drilling/grinding etc. Room was well located next to the lagoon, spacious and functional. Loved our 1st visit to Vanuatu, the close proximity of Erakor and Ramada hotels provided lots of eating/drinking options.”

”I loved Breakas Beach Resort! It's not a high-end, super-glitzy kind of place, but a very lovely, relaxed, simple place to stay where they still take care of your every need. The individual cottages, built of local rock, roofed with palm leaves, and scattered through the beautiful forest, are simple yet elegant. The food and drinks are excellent (watermelon daiquiris, yum!), and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Activities and tours are available every day, plus lots of assistance...

”Great stay, the kitchen was a plus, also the food at the restaurant was magnificent! 5min by buss to city, also the buss only cost 1,5 dollars. Staff are wonderful, so kind and tentative! Would recommend to anyone!”

”Breakfast was same every morning and expensive considering that they actually didn't cook it. Just yogurt, white non tasty bread and croissant, juice and fruits. Staff kept forgetting thing all the time and I had to remind them every day to bring me breakfast and don't take my laundry basket away etc... When I politely complained about service for stuff, their reactions were not apologizing. Instead more like I they showed some tiredness or were not happy that I say about things... ”

”Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was great but a little pricey. If you are elderly or have health issues make sure your accommodation is on the lower areas of the property as a lot of the rooms are high on the hill with steep access paths in areas.”

”The room was very generous in space, with good amenities inc a good fridge/freezer and a welcome shower with hot water for once! The pool bar was comfortable and welcoming from 7am on for food and drinks, All staff were absolutley excellent and everything was easy Many thanks, Craig”
