The house was very clean and the rooms were cute, unique, and cozy. We appreciated that there were lots of hooks and places to hang towels. The individual thermostats in the bedrooms were also very appreciated. The large beds were comfortable with nice bedding. It was great having a well stocked kitchen (dishes, utensils, cups). The rec room was really fun, and we loved the big living room with very comfortable couches (even better than the ones from the pictures!). The hot tub, firepit, treehouse, and beautiful walk down to the river were perfect additions to an already great house.We did alert the owner that there was not a clean/new sponge for the dishes, and the one that was there was well worn and smelled really bad. Michelle did respond within an hour after we let her know, but we had already had someone in our group stop at the store to buy one.Some things that did not at all detract from our wonderful stay, but that you might want to address for yourselves/future guests:- the kitchen knives are VERY dull- one of the back burners on the range isn't working- hand soap was low in some bathrooms, and only a little bit of dish soap was left (we bought a new one to replace it)- water dripping off condenser out back by the hot tub- upstairs shower is dripping- we couldn't get the dining room fireplace to turn on (could be user error)- a pool stick and a dart are brokenThanks again for a lovely stay!
