We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. ”A beautiful unique place right at the sand dunes. The description "connected with a shopping center" is wrong, there is no shopping center. It is connected with a well-equipped camping site. The last stretch of the access road goes across sand, unpaved. Camel rides are right next door. Stanza, molto ampia, tutta in effetto pisé, con un balconcino esterno. In effetti, non è che la stanza fosse sporca, ma anche lo spazio dove appoggiare le cose è in effetto pise e tende a trattenere la polvere e quindi appoggiandoci i vestiti possono rimanere un po' impolverati. ”There is no air conditioning and charger is only USB charge in room. Some room you can not locked and door stay open all night. Felt unsafe while sleeping due to unable to close my door. ”

”The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner.
