”We were a group of 8 friends celebrating our 80th birthdays and 60 years in nursing where we all met. This place was as it was pictured on the website. The views of the lake from every room and great sunsets. The air was on in the house when we arrived and the weather was very chilly. ”This house is just as advertised. The views of Lake Erie from any place in the house are beautiful. The host provides over and above what you could want and even allowed us an early entry. Close to anything you want to do. We have stayed in alot of vacation homes and this was by far the nicest.”

”House was cute, clean and in a quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed. I especially liked the fluffy towels. Only about 2.5 miles to the graduation and 15 minutes to Presque Isle for a picnic. Games and coloring things for kids. We didn’t use them but I bet families with kids love that extra. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Maybe again…”

”The house is listed as a mansion. It did not meet my impression of a mansion. It is beautif on the inside but needs some updates. The space for the kids and all the different areas was great. The grounds were under repair and there was no private outdoor space. We did not realize, but there was no bathtub. The property manager was wonderful.”

”We traveled to Erie for the funeral of a family member. The location was good and the accomodations met our needs overall. The lack of an ironing board was inconvenient. Had there been one we would not have had to bring all of our clothing to the home of another family member to iron. Also, it would have been helpful to have had a sink stopper in the kitchen sink.”

”Our team met in Erie during the work week to discuss product changes with a supplier partner. 3 of us stayed at the Blue House and we enjoyed the comfortable setting to gather for morning coffee and again in the evenings to recap /plan for each coming day. The nearby park also was nice to soak up the views at the shoreline. Highly recommended.”

”Had to find a place to fit 4 adults and 3 kids on the fly for a funeral, this place fit the bill. Pros: House is clean, host is very responsive, great area of town. Cons: Parking is be tricky if you have a bigger vehicle (I have a truck), no washer or dryer, would have loved a keurig (they have a coffee pot). Overall nice clean place and a good host.”
