”Firstly thank to owner Joana for being so responsive. The house in Esposende totally fitted the holiday brief - we wanted somewhere coastal but chill without the hordes of tourists and tat! The old part of Esposende (10 mins stroll from house) is a lovely old fishing village - great tapas and light bites to be had al fresco in the main square of an evening - there's a sushi restaurant that looks good, too! The house is only a five minute walk to a beach which is low surf and PERFECT for swimming...

”Came over to support my niece in the lacrosse European championship in Braga. They didn’t have games every day, so wanted somewhere which offered variety. This rural, private location suited us very well as we had our own transport, being within easy reach of Porto, Douro Valley, beaches and Braga. So much more besides we didn’t explore. Antonio, the host, was very helpful and wanted us to enjoy stay.”
