”This is a small, quaint hotel run by locals in the style of a hostel. We arrived way early and were allowed to swim in the pool for a few hours which was great! The common area is a great place to meet others, and the staff was very nice. We were very happy with this authentic stay and would return.”

”This is not for traveling with big luggage, you have to walk up a hill and upstairs. i always do a clean sweep. wipe down bathroom, the shower head was black when i started wiping.so imagine if i had just jumped in the shower. "can you say rash". i sprayed the bed but slept on top the comforter. No real parking spaces. no safety lack or extra security so be creative. over all it was ok for my 2 night stay. PLEASE CLEAN FIRST BEFORE RESTING”

”Do not stay here! Property is in shambles. Bar not open. Safe didnt work. Gave us another room, safe didnt work. Lobby furniture is dirty and carpets are worn and stained. Villa area is a home for ferrel cats. Pool area dirty. Looks like no repairs or upkeep since hurricane. Didn't feel safe walking the property. Expedia should remove this hotel from their site. ”

”Overall, a great experience. Rooms were very clean with beautiful views. The bar staff was great at Sunny side. Friendly. Front staff was knowledgeable about recommendations about where to go. However we did have one attendant rude about coming to exchange towels. Overall we will be back. ”

”I had a 3day stay at Islam view and the service was exceptional. The staff members were all friendly, polite and attentive. I had an issue with my room location and they addressed it and changed it immediately. The stake-house was amazing (a bit pricey, but worth it). I would recommend this spot to solo travelers because I felt safe on the property.
