”We had the private villa with the balcony . The place it self is nice with an ocean view. The bar is only open until 9 which is a downer but the drinks are reasonable priced. It is a 5 minute walk from the airport so no need for a taxi to get to and from which I liked. Right by the beach which was nice. You can tell the property is older but it is nice and quiet. They have cats and roosters on the property. Seem like the island is known for that, they don’t bother anyone tho. ”

”My stay at Winward Hotel was unfortunately disappointing. While the location is great and very convenient, the overall experience did not meet expectations. The property was a bit deceiving based on its appearance, and the room itself did not feel clean or well-maintained. I had concerns that my particular room may have had bed bugs, which made it difficult to relax and fully enjoy the stay. Additionally, the shower was not clean, which was another major downside. ”From walking in to check in was amazing!!! Dinner for the wifes birthday was amazing and the chef and owner came to our table and talked to us for 15 mins .. will be back with family and friends.. the food there was top notch and serves was top notch...”

”Pros: Perfect location to shops, restaurants and ferry. Good free breakfast, coffee, water, oatmeal, fruit, muffins and yogurt for breakfast. Nice breezy patios to sit and relax. The beach chairs offered were a great touch too. Cons: Went to lay down for bed and there was sand leftover from previous guests, yet they rushed over to change the sheets. The rooms are small, the shower is tiny but, its a comfy stay. ”

”room was clean and there was a tv and coffee maker, otherwise it was AWFUL. The parking was not safe for my elderly parents to navigate. There was no elevator, and my mom had a terrible time on the stairs. No hot water for showers. There was trash in the refrigerator. Restaurant was a room, not enough seating for the 4 of us. Extremely loud people outside and in hallways. Someone even tried to enter our room in middle of the night. It was worst experience ever.”

”What a beautiful place to stay on St. John, a great location with outstanding views. The restaurant was wonderful, we had two outstanding dinners and enjoyed after dinner drinks at the bar each evening. Staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful! We are planning to return in 2027!”

”This place was well worth the stay- I was only here one night but everything was incredible! Candy was welcoming and helpful from the minute I checked in. Very clean, homey, and such lovely views! If you’re able to walk stairs, I highly recommend it here. The lizards and landscape of the property made me smile.”
