The buildings are older historic structures that have been modernized just enough for comfort but still feel vintage enough. Perfect for a retreat and the hosts are very accomodating”

I will never book here again as much as ai travel my 1st medical emergency and no accommodations were made. ”

”Power went out often on the island, a generator is needed at this property. Out flight was cancelled and we lost a day. I was told we would get credit for that but haven’t received confirmation of that yet. Location is okay, taxi service is a few blocks away, restaurants close. Not sure if I’d return or recommend at this time, still waiting on owner to honor his verbal agreement. But no matter what, a generator is desperately needed to protect a quality experience. ”

”We had such a wonderful stay. The staff was truly kind and welcoming, and the villa felt spacious, clean, and comfortable. Having a washer and dryer made everything so easy. The restaurant was a favorite—beautiful views and really delicious food. We would happily come back.”

”The room itself was nice and adequate. However, the pool was very dirty, common areas in poor condition, WIFI was useless (extremely slow), had dinner plans for 7pm at the restaurant (reservation made by lady at front desk) and later called saying they weren't serving dinner. ”

”We stayed at The Emerald Beach Resort from 3/10 through 3/17. From check-in to check-out the staff was fantastic. The grounds were well maintained and our room was clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was consistently good and the portions were more than ample. Some of the previous reviews complained about the slow service and they thought the meals were expensive.
