The community hot tub is shared by all guests and is a short walk from this cabin. It closes strictly at 9pm each evening.

Check-in is at 4pm or later, and check-out is at 10am or earlier. Early check-in may be available for a small fee but can only be confirmed 24 hours prior to arrival if the cleaning schedule permits.

Welcome to your Estes Park home away from home! This comfortable mountain cabin is located in the desirable Solitude Cabins community, offering the perfect blend of convenience and mountain atmosphere. You`ll be just minutes from the adventure of Rocky Mountain National Park and the charm of downtown Estes Park.

The best feature is the private deck, where you can sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening BBQ while taking in panoramic views of the Estes Valley, from the famous Longs Peak and Twin Sisters to the peaks of the Continental Divide. Inside, the vaulted ceilings and large windows fill the space with light, while the gas fireplace creates a cozy ambiance for relaxing after a day of exploration.

This cabin is designed for ease and comfort, with a well-thought-out floor plan perfect for families or two couples traveling together.

The Solitude HOA is a quiet neighborhood of vacation cabins near Lake Estes, just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park. This is a peaceful, family-friendly resort community. It encompasses 45 standalone cabins, a main lodge with 7 hotel-style rooms, and a meeting space/gathering area. The grounds compass 9 acres and backs up to wild forest to the east, so wildlife frequent the neihgborhood. Lake Estes has a great walking path around it and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the property. Solitude is only a few minutes by car to downtown Estes Park.

You will need a car to really enjoy your time in Estes Park, though the town`s free summer shuttle does have a stop in the Solitude neighborhood. That shuttle runs from July to September and will take you to downtown, and from there you can take other shuttles around the Estes Valley.

NO SMOKING, NO FIRES

This home was a few miles away from one of the largest forest fires in Colorado history a few years ago. This is now a strict no-smoking property. No smoking inside, outside, and no outdoor fire pits (now illegal in Estes Park`s vacation homes). Charcoal BBQs are banned. Gas is OK.

ROAD CONDITIONS

Estes has a great plow team and our parking area will also be plowed during storms, but if there`s a huge blizzard, they may not be plowed exactly when you need them to be. We cannot assist if you get stuck and we always recommend that people rent AWD or 4WD when visiting us from October to May. We are at 8,000 feet and this can be a snowy area!

Like nearly all homes in Estes Park, there is no air conditioning. Evening breezes coming off the mountains cool the home quickly.
