Vuoden 2013 tulva ei vaikuttanut mökkiin. Uudelleen uusittu !!!! Maaliskuusta 2016 alkaen uudet lattiat, ikkunat, matto ja paljon muuta!
Maalaismainen vuoristopaikka vain muutaman askeleen päässä Big Thompson -joesta alkaen vain 109 dollarista / yö sesongin ulkopuolella! Sijaitsee keskustassa Estes Park (alle mailin!) runsaasti ostosmahdollisuuksia ja ravintoloita sekä Rocky Mountainin kansallispuisto, jossa on runsaasti villieläimiä, nähtävyyksiä ja retkeilymahdollisuuksia. Nauti kupillinen kahvia katsellessasi paikallisen hirven kuullut mutkia kiinteistön läpi tai siirry alas Big Thompsoniin kokeillaksesi onneasi isolle saalille.(noin 80 metrin päässä pysäköintialueelta)

Mökki on täysin päivitetty nykyaikaisella vuoristo sisustus. Kahden makuuhuoneen mökissä on upeasti nimitetty mestari, jolla on queen-vuode. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on kerrossänky, jossa täysi sänky pohjassa ja kaksoset ylhäällä - täydellinen joko toisen parin huoneeseen tai lapsille nauttimiseen. Asumistilassa on puulämmitteinen takka nauttia räjähdyksestä ja tulen lämmöstä viileänä yönä. Siinä on myös kaapeli-tv, DVD ja WiFi sisäiseen viihdettä varten. Asumistilan futon vetää ulos queen-size-vuode. Keittiö on täysin varustettu, jotta se voi nauttia kotiruokaa myös kotona poissa ollessa. Ulkopuolella on kansi, josta voit kuulla Big Thompsonin asteittaiset vedet keitettäessä illallista BBQ: lla.

Tämä mökki on erinomaisella paikalla nauttiakseen kaikesta Estes Parkin kauneudesta ja keskustan elämästä. Olitpa kaupungissa häät, perheenyhdistämisen yhteydessä tai haluat vain päästä pois, jätät täysin tyytyväisenä jäädessäsi mökkiin.

Wonderful cabin for a stay in Estes Park and visit to RMNP. Close to downtown and all amenities that Estes has to offer and even has an access to the Big Thompson River that is fishable and has a little picnic area. It is not right next to the cabin like the pics suggest but is not far and easily accessible. Parking is great at the cabin and very convenient. The interior of the cabin is nicely updated and perfect for what we needed during our stay in Estes and everyday visits to RMNP. We would definitely use this property again!One note....the entrance is hard to find at first and I would not want to try and find in the dark for the first time. The cabin owner was very helpful with his instructions which enabled us to only miss it once! After that, had no trouble.

Perfect Location

This cabin was in an ideal location. The park & downtown were both convenient. One afternoon, several elk decided to hang around which made it fun to watch. The Adirondack chairs down by the water were really appreciated. It was very relaxing to sit and listen to the rushing river. Check in was super easy but the kitchen facilities were a little lacking. This was the first time in our experience of renting, where coffee was not supplied (although there were coffee filters & a pot). One of the skillets was put away dirty and we didn't discover this until we started to use it. Kitchen towels were also lacking. Only one towel to dry dishes was provided but there were no dishcloths. The bath towels had been hung while still damp causing a musty smell when we used them. This was also the case with the bed sheets. We had to wash & dry them ourselves on our first day to remove the odor. Also, the white bath washcloths were extremely stained and needs replaced. Dishes were a hodge-podge and decorations on the tables were old and dusty. It wasn't a bad experience, but for the price paid, we expected a little nicer.

Peaceful Getaway in a Beautiful Setting

Wonderful stay! The cabin was well-equipped for our family of four and set in a peaceful, relaxing location. While the main bedroom mattress wasn’t the most comfortable, the beautiful setting, access to RMNP and downtown, and the overall experience more than made up for it. A perfect spot to unwind.

This cabin had everything we needed! Cozy and clean with all the amenities. Close to the RMNP entrance which worked out well for early morning hikes. Spent time reading by the river - very relaxing.One evening we experienced the company of 6 female elk and 4 babies who wandered up from the river and spent time grazing right outside of the cabin. Unforgettable! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Beautiful and very convenient

Our family of four had a lovely winter stay at Mountain Haven this March. The place was clean, homey and conveniently located just minutes away from Rocky Mountain National Park and everything else you need during your stay in Estes Park. The beautiful adjacent river was icing on the cake. Alex is super responsive and kind!

Great Access to River - Simple Living!

Loved the location of this cabin and thr simplicity of it. My kids had a blast catching and releasing fish all day. At night we enjoyed the DVD movies that were stocked. Fires were a delight as well. Definitely recommend!

Weekend Getaway

We went to Estes for a weekend getaway. This cabin is so cute and is perfect for a small family. My sons (ages 5 and 3) loved the bunk bed. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the bathroom has big fluffy towels. The cabin is very close to town, Coffee on the Rocks, and a super cool rock store. My boys loved walking to river near the cabin. We saw a bunch of deer in the grassy area by the cabin before we drove home. It was a lovely weekend and memories I will cherish forever.
