”Super stay for 1 night. The hotel is used by tour groups so breakfast can be crowded at certain times. Coffee machine terribly slow and forms a queue - but there is filter coffee , tea and various flavoured teas if you can't wait. Staff are super efficient and kind, even the maintenance man helping elderly people with their bags on the steps. ”Cannot fault this place at all, it’s absolutely wonderful. Stayed for four nights. Staff were incredibly welcoming and smiley, on hand 24/7 to help with anything. Room was immaculate with everything you could need, air-con was a godsend! Lovely balcony to sit out on in the morning with a coffee. The pool area was fantastic, not the biggest but that made it more cosy, felt more like a private pool at times! It was really peaceful and quiet. ”I was genuinely confused by the mixed reviews, so wasn’t sure whether to book, but I’m so glad I did The hotel was conceptually fascinating and a surreal experience. The village is literally the hotel, this declining village was rescued and converted. The staff were incredible. I think my room was upgraded for free because I got a better room than the one I paid for. A great experience and amazing pool and spa! I did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on that.”
