”The room was clean and very large. I was sure I had booked a 1st floor room, but the only thing available was upstairs. Up somewhat icy stairs! The one pleasant surprise was the heated bathroom floor. For the price we paid, it was good value.”

”A locally owned and operated small business well worth patronizing. In town but off the highway so you will need to follow your maps directions. Spacious, quiet, well equipped room. Breakfast was great and the coffee was especially good…ask Anne where to get some as it is locally ground and roasted. As a bonus you may be staying on a night where the northern lights are shining bright…see some of Anne’s pictures.”

”My wife and I had our wedding nearby and stayed at Elkside Hideout for the week.The place lives up to its name -- the day we arrived we saw 2 elk in the neighbourhood and the day we left we saw a herd of over 12. It was stunning. It was a beautiful space, amazing spa setup, and the surroundings were beautiful. We had a small ceremony nearby but had the small group (8 in total) over for celebrating and it was comfortable for everyone. We also had our pups with us, which made it really special....

”About 10 to 15 minute drive from Cross Iron Mills. If you’re from the north and heading home, this is an excellent place to stay to take a rest. It’s accessible from highway 2. The place is clean and the neighborhood feels safe. ”We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay at Rocky View Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful modern home with 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and a shared open sitting area with full size fridge and mini kitchen. Located in Rocky View residential area in Northwest Calgary, which allowed for easy access to Cochrane, Banff, and Lake Louise.
